Do you have the perfect smile to match the perfect dress on your wedding day?

Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly. However, we all want to look great on the day, so why not consider a whitening treatment, cleaning or a mini-dental make over for your special day and make the memories last forever? Our specialist team can help to put your best wedding day smile forward and make you look and feel your best. In just a short cosmetic consultation we will create a treatment plan that works with your objectives, budget and schedule.

We can offer the following steps to a better wedding smile:

Option 1. Dental cleaning

A basic cleaning with our hygienist will remove any stains and deposits, using the latest available technology that will leave your teeth looking polished and radiant. How long? : About 45 minutes How often? : One or more sessions depending on the level of staining. We do recommend routine cleaning every 3-6 months depending on your individual situation. Will it hurt? : No, you may require topical or local anesthesia if you suffer from sensitive teeth.

Option 2. Whitening

Regain your natural white smile with the help of our team. At The Dental Studio we offer several options to whiten your teeth and will assist you in choosing the best one for you. How long? : Some systems whiten teeth in 1 hour, others can take up to 14 days. How often? : One visit depending on the system. Home application requires more sessions(up to 14). We recommend whitening re-touch treatment every 4 months as indicated. Will it hurt? : No , some people do suffer minor sensitivity to heat and cold for 24hrs following the treatment.

Option 3. Bonding

Why not restore small chips, defects or discoloration before your big day? This same day procedure provides natural looking restoration alternatives that are undetectable to the naked eye. Your dental professional can explain and help you decide the best look for your big day. How long? : On average 45-60 minutes per tooth How often? : It only takes one visit. Bonding materials are very high tech and strong and can last up to 3 years. Will it hurt? : Bonding is normally done without anesthesia. The use of bonded material needs minimal or no preparation to the tooth structure.

Option 4. Veneers

Veneers offer a great and effective way to change both the shape and color of your teeth and are your long term solution to keeping your wedding smile till the first grandchildren arrive! Veneers are thin porcelain facings (similar to contact lenses)that are fixed to the outside of your tooth after minimal or no preparation of your tooth structure. How long? : Depends on the number of teeth involved. How often? : Two to four visits including your smile analysis and design. Will it hurt? : This is quite a non-invasive procedure needing only topical or local anesthetic depending on the individual situation.

Option 5. Gum sculpting

Modern day surgical techniques can correct a gummy smile and restore harmony to your gum line and smile. The sophisticated techniques used by Periodontal surgeons ensure predictable results, comfortable recovery and minimal healing time. How long? : Procedure takes an average 1-3 hours depending on the individual situation. How often? : 2-4 visits including after treatment consult. Will it hurt? : Expect minimal to moderate discomfort according to the individual situation. Every treatment is planned and monitored to ensure minimal discomfort.

Option 6. Orthodontics

A beautiful smile is not a trapping of modern society, it has been with us since the day of Ancient Egypt. Orthodontics can be the perfect other partner on your wedding day. There are a number of different systems to choose from but my personal favorite is the “invisible brace”. Placed on the inner aspects of your teeth makes this brace virtually undetectable to the naked eye. How long? : For adults, treatment usually requires from 2-24 months How often? : Multiple short visits in the range of 3-6 weeks apart. Will it hurt? : No, it takes a little time to get used to, with minimal discomfort after any adjustments.
