Dr. Loiy Alshami is an experienced and confident orthodontist with extensive expertise in comprehensive orthodontic treatment, clear aligners, and functional appliances. With over 15 years of dental practice across the USA, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the UAE, he is known for his positive attitude, easygoing nature, and commitment to transforming smiles.
He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Jordan in 2008, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and General Practice Residency at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Alshami then completed a Craniofacial Biology Fellowship at the University of Kentucky (2020–2021) and an Orthodontics Residency Program at the Georgia School of Orthodontics, Atlanta , Georgia (2021–2024).
Dr. Alshami is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), the American Board of Dental Examiners (ADEX), and the Western Regional Examining Board (WREB). He is highly skilled in using a wide range of orthodontic systems including MBT, Roth, Damon, Lingual Braces, and Clear Aligners.
