Dr. Nidhi Kotak is a dual board-certified Pediatric Dentist with over 15 years of experience, driven by a simple belief: a visit to the dentist should feel less like an appointment and more like a play date—one kids never want to leave.
With clinical experience across five countries spanning North America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, Dr. Kotak brings a global perspective to pediatric dentistry. Her diverse journey has helped shape her patient-centered approach, where every child receives care that is personalized to their individual needs.
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. After completing her pediatric dental residency at Temple University Hospital as Chief Resident, she developed a special focus on infant oral health, breastfeeding support, and tongue-tie and lip-tie management.
Dr. Kotak believes that building trust with children and parents is the foundation of excellent dental care. Whether caring for infants, children with special needs, or young patients experiencing dental anxiety, she focuses on providing thoughtful recommendations and treatment options that best support each family.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Kotak is the founder of @babytoothdentist, an educational platform where she shares practical oral health information with families around the world. She also incorporates creativity and humor into her interactions with children, inspired by her improv training at The Second City in Chicago.
Recognized for her contributions to pediatric dentistry, Dr. Kotak has received the Lucy Hobbs “Woman to Watch” Award (2023) and the Young Outstanding Dentist Award in 2011. She has contributed to dental research, served as faculty at the University of British Columbia, and participated in community dental outreach programs internationally.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Kotak is usually exploring a new destination with her husband and two children or challenging herself to learn a new dance style. She loves trying new things, embracing adventure, and bringing that same sense of fun and curiosity into her everyday life.
